my clutch slipped going into fourth and he was 1 carlength ahead at 110. A car pulled out in front so we slammed the brakes. He was much closer than I...he made a turn pretty quick after that.

Do you know what year the cobra was? (if 99-01 the car has independent rear suspension) Also the new Cobra has 340 hp stock and has always come with good brakes. I know 0-60 is about 5.4 sec in a coupe. The car is quick, but I heard it is a rattle trap.

at first i just thought it was another GT. i was thinking, "why aren't i pulling on him?" then when we braked i saw cobra on the back. sounded like he had an exhaust or something. it was probably a mid-90's model. if it was a new one it woulda pulled on me much quicker.

guy at work...just got a new mustang cobra convertible..i will let you know..how fast it is...when he gets it broken in!!
