lemme go and find it, I know that a stock auto hit 13.6'z and im pretty sure I Saw a 13.5 posted by a manual. Another thing that u guys should note, please dont compare the newer 350z to the 2003-2005'z... they completely botched the car and added another 200 pounds to it and less torque... sigh what were they thinking..
(that's how you start a flame war)

s2k=350z
they are so close that it will be a drivers race, or, as we all know, some cars are just faster than others. No s2k is the same, no 350z is the same.
Timeslips don't mean anything. We don't know what kind of conditions the car had that day. The track could have been a little downhill and it could have been a perfect day. Doesn't mean anything for what car is faster. To be honest, with there being more 350z's, and both cars being the same in the 1/4, there is more of a chance that someone got a better time with the 350z. Because more have probably been to the track.
No need to compare 350z to s2k in autocross, they aren't even in the same stock.
s2k = better gearing, 350z = better hp/tq
s2k = a little over weight, 350z = obese
s2k = crappy aerodynamics, 350z = sexy aerodynamics
s2k = 4cyl, 350z = 6cyl
Why are there so many topics on this subject. Why can't both sides deal with the fact that their car isn't faster than the other? Your equal. Your stock s2k may be faster than most stock 350z, but not all. Same for the 350z being faster than an s2k. It is not a hard concept!

auto 350z runs 13.6's hahahahahah, ya in the 1/8th mile!!
thats my proof for the auto's running the 13.6 now stop being stupid if u have no idea what ur talkin about. i ran a 13.9 in my car with a 2.1XX 0-60 the first time i was out there. if I had the launch down then i should be rite along side em. anyways the 13.5 time slip seems to have dissapeared... but if an auto can run 13.6'z then from everyones logic on s2ki, the manuals should be running 10'z.

So ONE auto on ONE day got a freaking SICK 60' and ran a 13.6 with a 101.5mph trap. Great for him,
Hell...I don't think I've EVER seen a stock auto trap 100mph or higher until this car.

also note there is some skepticism with his timeslip on my350z.com in regards to the discrepancy with his 1/8th and 1/4mile trap speeds. regardless, it's still a 13.6, which 2 S2k's have hit as well.
so honestly, we're ending up in the same place here. I don't know why it's so hard for 350Z owners to admit the S2k is just as fast as their car??

Im kinda scared, this thread is going to explode soon. I personally watched an auto z run 3 runs at 15.1 every time. Ive driven several auto z's and they couldnt touch a 6-speed(this is based on my butt dyno). about the aero dynamics thing earlier, lets say the weight hurts you two points, and at 50mph aero hurts you 2 points, at 100 aero hurts you 4 points but weight still only hurts you 2 points. thus weight is always bad but the lesser of two evils at higher speeds. that time slip is a joke....

i wasnt tryin to say that a 350z was faster or wutever, I just wanted to show that the auto 350z turn very consistant 1/4 times and that it was just as fast as a manual. that its. I also run mid 13'z when in NA. Also its not just 1 auto, there was a guy in long island that was turning 13.7z stock but he was cutting 2.0 0-60. its not like it as hard as u guys are tryin to make it seem.
