My friend and I ran into one another on the way into work. 2 Lane road each direction, no traffic around just straight road! There is a little town on the way to the office where the speed limit drops to 35 before jumping back to 65. There is also a line where the 35 zone ends. So we did 2 runs.

Both runs were from a roll. We were set to go at the line...and even through 1st, however I didn't shift soon enough (was already a 8K RPM) and he got me good because of it.

Today we did a roll from 55-100MPH and I won by like a car length. When we got in I asked him what happened and he said he just spaced and didn't hit it till I was already going...we didn't do honks to make it obvious cause we didn't want to draw MORE attention. Anyway once I got out in front I didn't gain any more ground. Based on what we've done the two cars pretty much run even and its really a drivers race. We haven't raced from 0 yet but I don't really have any desire to launch because of concerns over damage to the clutch and I almost never race on the street anyway.

 

I killed one that was being driven by a cute girl here in Addison. The roadster is too heavy to consistantly beat the S2000. I actually had her by about 2 car lengths.

 

i think the vert shouldnt be too much of a problem for a well driven s
but that first jump can serve a big head start for u , so it wasnt completelt fair for the Z
