Watch those generalizations...

Prove me wrong! Show me an example of a car that wont run better ETs with an auto (NO SHIFTING TIME, FULL BOOST) against a manual (SHIFTING TIME, BOOST DROPS). We are NOT talking trap speeds here, we are talking ET!

You all argue like a bunch of preschoolers. I can deal with some hypothetical situations, but this is way too much. Just let it be settled one on one when it comes up. I'm sure it can swing anyway you can imagine depending on the situation.

Why am I getting back into this?
Well Ok I'll admit, that I don't know everything there is to know about drag cars, I'll even admit that I don't know everything there is to know about turbos,
But I can tell you this, I will gauarntee, that I can personally shift faster in my 6 speed S2K then any production automatic available. Excluding SMGII and the likes of Clutchless manuals.
So what I'm saying is Hey, you may be right about the drop in turbo pressure, and it may indeed be faster.
but to say Automatic "NO SHIFTING TIME" vs Manual "SHIFTING TIME ", I mean come on.
I'm sure if I really cared I could find a video of me driving on the track, and you would be welcome to time my shifts.

autos are rarely faster than manuals for those two main reasons:
1.autos have torque converters that sap power.
2.They usually don't have enough gears. (4 speed or 3 speeds)
