This is the most misleading comment ever!!! IS300 has superbly strong bottom end.
for n/a maybe i have personaly seen atlest 3 blow up. and i have seen with my eyes the rods next to the supra rods.... so they do not even come close. And i am not knocking the car at all i love them lmost actualy bought one. but for boost the bottom end will not hold.

I don't know what you've seen but my friends' IS300's are actually the opposite of what you've seen. One of them is putting over 350 rwhp and it's still running smoothly and safely as ever with the stock bottom end. Now, I know they are not as strong as the Supra's, but they can certainly hold much more than 300 hp. Heck, if tuned correctly, even an S2000 could hold over 300 hp safely with the stock internals.

so your proving my point for me then? they realy can;t hold 400whp for a long period of time... honestly go on the IS board and just ask, i have seen and tuned more then a couple of jz motors, know the internals very very well.

check out is300.net, I drive an IS before. Comparing with the S, the IS300 stock is pretty slow. But the engine is very smooth, also the car weights around 3300 pounds.
