3000GT Vs. s2000
GF was driving the S and we ended up stopped at a light. i dont launch.....just wouldnt be fair. light turns green and we roll out. im sitting next to her waiting for VTEC to kick in. when it does i mash it. 45mph at the top of 1st shes at my door. hit 2nd....run it out. 45-80 you can add another 2 cars to the distance
let off at the top of 2nd due to running up on traffic pretty fast. she actually wants to go again when there is no traffic. likely this weekend we will have a rematch.
this car has incredible topend. doesnt really wake up till 2nd/3rd. ran a ZX10R to 165 after we got thru traffic. he put 1.5 bike lengths on me from 100-160
should i crank the boost up? was at 10 psi today.

yeah, a friend of mine had a 97 VR4. I was impressed with the car even when it was stock. At 60-70mph, when he punched it, it really got up and moved. Nice strong topend imo. Then he modded it, put intake, exhaust, boost controller, AFC, clutch, flywheel, bov, can't remember what else. Very nice car, I still love the way the 97-99 VR4's look. Mitsu really knew what they were doing back then with exterior design, look at the 97-99 eclipse as well.

As good as the VR4 looked, the current Evo is the company's shining star now. It's better in every way, except looks.
j/k, I love the S, and if I didnt live somewhere where there is snow on the ground for 4 months of the year, I'd have one as my daily.

Yeah, I'm not really feeling the VR4's or Stealths either. I ran two different TT VR4's and a TT Stealth in my 02 Gti and walked them all by 3+cars. Granted the VW wasn't stock but it wasn't anything spectacular either. Dyno'd 237WHP. I drove a TT VR4 for about 2 hours one day and it felt like a pig in every way despite having fairly respectable HP numbers. It's just to heavy.
