I had some fool with a beret....Im serious...a beret race me in his 05-06 M3 on I-205 bridge into Washington race me when I had the greddy turbo. It was hilarious to say the least, I pulled multiple cars by 100. He wouldn't look over after I smoked him. For a second I was worried it was one of the Horsepowerfreaks ridiculous turbo M3's because its so close to their warehouse. Now one of those would spank me like a kindergarten kid.

Call BS or not, but When my AP2 was tuned on the EMS, I was neck & neck with a stock E46 on the frwy....the week before I raced a Z4M and slightly pulled on it. It was BMW week for me that week...lol

After the Z4M race (same motor as above), The guy let me drive it....pretty quick, but the ap2 1-3rd gear pulls on the 333 rwhp motor. The 3 motor seems to kinda lag until higher speeds although it traps decently high...

EDIT* I was 245 rwhp/175 lbs at the time.
Impressive if you can really do that with your s2k.

My friend has a Z4M Coup

Good run.

The only car that I ran against repeatedly after going SC (CT + AC, stock pulley) was a friend's E46 6MT M3. It was stock down to the air filter.

We ran at least a dozen times over the years, including switching drivers, different weather, 40-120 runs usually. With the blower, the two cars were about as close in that range as I can imagine. Whoever got the jump, would end up ahead at 120.

He recently traded it in on 09 M3 coupe (E92) and as expected, I can't keep up. Then again, it's been in the shop for a few 'issues' already. Just like my S, it's a weekend car so I guess that's not a big deal.
