If you're able to say that the M3 corners faster than the Corbra on a freeway on-ramp, on public roads, then I can tell you straight out that this guy just didn't push it as hard as you.

Cornering speeds on the streets is 99.99% who's-got-a- bigger-chip-on-their-shoulder than my-car-sticks-better-than-yours.

Bottom line, the '03 Corba is notably faster stock-for-stock. Mod-for-mod. In this case, the driver didn't drive all too well for reasons we'll never know.

Street racing in Seattle is straight silly.

The M3 will flat rape the Cobra in the twisties. The Cobra handles well but the M3 is world class.

This ain't the twisties.

At well over 3200 lbs, hardly a world-class handler. Its success is nowhere to be found in competitive auto-x and the tracks.

And on the streets... I already typed it out.

I wonder what it'll do with a S/C.

I live on the eastside also . . . I cross I-90 quite often, always someone trying to get me to run, or vice versa. That's your opinion dog.

It's over 3400 lbs. but is still a wonderful handling automobile and you will begin to see it more common place on the track and at auto-x's. If you think the 03 Cobra's handling is anywhere in the ballpark then you obviously haven't driven both or you get to hang one of those blue and white parking passes from your rearview. They aren't even close and I have owned both and run both at the track.

this story is so true. Most cobra drivers will run high 12's on the track. I would say that under-rated's story is way more believable than some told on here. Bmw m3's engine keeping up with a cobra is way more believable than an s2000 engine keeping up with a newer trans-am......
