nHobbes. Thanks for your comment and yeah, the car is under my belt.
When I had 2000 M Roadster, I was itching to trade it in for 02 S2000 (yup, with glass rear window) or 01+ M cars. I got a terrific deal with 01 M Roadster and have been happy with it ever since. When my co-worker was shopping for an open car, I persuaded him to get S2000 and he did.
Although he came from racing muscle cars and sport bikes, he has been very happy with his new toy and became a

how much did you get for your 01 m coupe? u know I just got my s about 2 months ago and I was looking either the m coupe or s2000.. I love the power of that car (I made the guy from dealership face turned red when he was riding with me.. LOL) but I also really wanted a convertible. Needless to say, honda gave me a better deal and I figured I can always wait for the z4 m version while i'm driving the s. As matter of fact, I put down $1000 deposit for the z4 already but it won't come in at least 1 year and half from now.

I have a small IT consulting firm and uncle sam is picking up some tap on this car.
I was leasing 2000 M Roadster before I traded it in and I am paying $40 more for this 2001 M Roadster.
I didn't find out how much I paid for it because it was a direct upgrade as far as leasing is concern.
Since I put a lot of money into it already (a lot more when more mods come out),
I am planning on buying it at the end of the term though.
My goodness, you already put a deposit for Z4? I would like to suggest you to consider Z3 M Roadster/Coupe though.
For S54 engine, there are only 1400 M Roadster and 500 M Coupes (approximately) up to date and the production is ceased.
Talking about an unique car... It is actullay rarer than Z8 (by production number).

nHobbes;
Yup, and he is on this board as well. His SN is "YellowStreak". I think he is organizing mid-atlantic s2000 meet in NOVA for Go-Kart driving. He once said, "Once you go VTEC, you never come back" with a big smile.

I'm actually a part time ECU programmer work for a exotic car shop that imports all the exotic cars from different foreign country(like Ferrari, BMW, porsche,etc, F1 you name it, we have it). We have alot of 8 z8s right now and we all agree that M5 is a MUCH better value car than the z8 since they use the same engine and half price.

Btw, I hope you have the S54, otherwise you are lying and not beating us on the track.
I think M was just bustin Wisconsin's balls -- and what's wrong with that? Wisconsin has raced and claimed to have beaten everything from C5's to Z28's.
