1998 BMW M Roadster
Location (For the Team Irvine Boys reading this): Newport Coast Drive from the Culver side all the way up over the hills to PCH and then back. Several miles with lots of elevation and some fast sweepers.
Results: Since I was unwilling to do a clutch dump launch the BMW pulled a car or so on me from the line. After that it was dead even up until about 125 mph. He couldn't shake me and I couldn't gain on him. I thought I would have pulled on him in the higher speeds but he was right there with me. I gained some respect for that BMW. The new model must be an absolute monster! Even this old model really had the torque advantage.

Watch out for Bonita Canyon Road on weekdays...I got caught doing 49 in 25 mph zone...
Luckily, cop was nice enough not to write me up for double fine and didn't write me up for not having my driver's license...also, lucky, he didn't request to check my vehicle if it was stolen cuz it looks stolen
