driving next to someone 70-110+ would not make sence... I could hear his engine over my rpms and his blow off for the turbo

why did he not blow by if he could...

If that the win I got... then its... I was in front..... and when he lrolled next to me at the light... he was not cocky like I could have won

a month ago I got in a pissing contest with a sti.... I was going as good as I could
and the sti was next to me from a light rolling..and I stopped down he matched and then gave it a little more.... I was loosing .. traffic ahead... break check

He is next to me at the light... and he say "those are pretty quick, that was fun "
I replied... not quick enough

you're making a race out of something that wasn't really a race. how do you know he didn't do the same thing as you? maybe he was in 5th or 6th gear and just rolled on it like you?

ok... well we just rolled in 5th on from 70 up to redline and to 110 I was infront

I dint know what gear he was in but when we startd rolling... I heard him down shift

maybe he let off at 105.. knowing he was not going to just blow by a stupid honda?
at that point we just crested the hill and still had 1/4 mile of open before a light
(105 I was full car infront, 110-115 nearly 2car lengths, and it did not seem like he just quit at top... just gaind little by.. little by.... little)

I guess here it more needing a video and semantics

I see posters like to poke holes in wins.... I'll work on returning the favors

you can't expect people to pat you on the back after you post such a story. you made it sound like you just rolled on it in 5th gear from 70-110 and the EVO downshifted to 3rd or something and tried his hardest to beat you. so you're taking it personally as people trying to "poke holes" in your win. sorry, but people aren't going to congratulate you for something that really wasn't a race the way you first made it sound like it would be.

This is the dumbest kill story i have ever seen. if you pat yourself on the back for a win like that, thats rather sad. Thats like people who race through traffic, and because they get better holes than the person behind them, they call it a win. Thatd be like me racing a viper, and the viper having to slow down for traffic in his lane, and me slapping my friends high fives because i "was in front". get real.

How about "Stock" EVO's. My buddies modified EVO beat me by 1 car to 100 (from a 20 mph roll). But he was not on race gas

i beat my buddies evoviii. he had a dp, and catback and i have an intake. he's not the best driver but i still beat him.
