Wisconsin S2K, what rpms did you drop from with your stock setup to get a 13.7? I drop from around 8300 and got a 2.19 60' and a 14.1 1/4. 80 something degrees out and 90+ humidity (Florida). Will colder climates give you a difference of about 3/10's? Or is my launch rpm too high? My video of it is in Ap1 vs Ap1 at the strip in street encounters. Thanks.
I think heat hurt your time a lot. Also I think you need 2.0's for 13.7's

damn im looking at some of your slips and my 330 is the same but couldnt run the same quarter mile times.i have a question what rpm are you shifting at.i shift pretty quick and i think i was shifting right at 9000.ill be going back to the track in a few weeks.i was thinking of trying to shift a 8500 and she what the difference will be.also your mph it way higher than mine im at 97 while you were breaking 100.it was a head on wind bit i doubt it'll make a difference of 5mph

don't short shift. you'll run a slower time.

a headwind can slow you down. so will heat and humidity.

the other biggest factor is simply how fast you can shift gears. have you ever seen the video of me shifting gears?

Stock 04 AP2 8000k miles.

I went to the track a couple wednesdays ago...first time in the s2k.

couldnt break 14's (still getting used to RWD and the S2K)

then a few passes later i went 13.7@100 mph with a 1.9 60 ft.

the car is bone stock. i was wondering how my time compares to other stock ap1's or ap2's

anyway here some pics of the slips.

Guests and new members keep this place alive, so you guys do matter, A LOT.
Not from a financial point of view.

How the hell do I become a member lol. I know it's a dumb question but the only reason I'm not one is cause I don't wanna deal with it. Can I just send a check to someone and be done with it?

Hey guys, just a quick question. I know magazine racing and leaps in logic when talking about cars is idiotic, but humor me here. How much does weather factor in to your ET? For example, last night I was the fastest out of my group at the track. Consistently got better times by about .100 than a guy that, when it was cold, ran a 14.0 and trapped at 101 mph. It was about 75 degrees and 100% humidity last night. My question is, assuming I do this again when it is cold and dry, should I be in the 13's? The SRT-4's and the guys I went to the track with were all running 14'5's and I ran a 14.3 @98. It seems I will be much faster in cooler weather because everyone else was trapping 96-an occasional 98 and the Mustang GT I beat ran 14.4@97. I was trapping 98 pretty much all night long.

I beat 2 out of the 3 SRT-4's at the track and beat a stick shift Mustang GT with at least an intake(not the newest MY but the one just before). It wasn't the driver. He had a better launch than me. It is a pretty good feeling pulling a V8 all the way down the track!

Anyway, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. (I drive an RSX).

weather definitely has an effect. 13's will be tough in hot temperatures and humid weather
