I'm curious to know if the S2K would be better with 2.2 liter version of the K-Series engine. I think that would be insane.

I don't think there are any K20's putting down 215-225 whp with just intake/exhaust/testpipe? Am I wrong? I thought they were more in the range of 195-200 whp with those mods....and I think this may be a bit too generous.

Well, first of all there are many different types of K engines. A stock type-s engine puts around 170whp stock...w/ I/H/E maybe 190-200hp max.

No, you're right on. Pretty much to get anything above 205 whp you need cams.

You guys are right but my point wasn't max power. My point was that the K-Series engine seems to respond to mods way better than the F-Series engine does. With I/H/E on the K-Series engine, as stated above, you see gains of anywhere from 20-30 whp... now I don't know about you guys... but if we saw that with our F-Series engines, we'd be some happy a$$ campers. For us to see on average a 25 whp gain, we need all stated above plus some sort of reflash or replacement ECU... am I right? That's why I said that we had a K-Series engine with 2.2 liter and 240 hp... I think it would be nice.

PM 'versionJDM' - he has 222whp from a test pipe, hondata IMG, and vafc. stock intake (he has drop-in filter), stock header, and i THINK stock exhaust (except cat obviously). he can probably chime in on this but thats aboout a 20whp increase (assuming its at about 202whp stock). not bad at all considering he could add a real intake, a manifold and exhaust and re-tune for a couple extra.
