I've been wanting to run an 02-03 Carrera for quite some time. . . I look behind me and here comes a C4S... at first I thought it was a Turbo because it had dual exhaust, Porsche Turbo wheels, minus the rear wing (Silver). . .

So here it goes from 70 mph side by side we both floor it I drop into third gear and hit 120mph my first run I pulled him 2-3 cars....

Second run - we slow down side by side I-90 floating bridge - again 70-140 I pulled him 4 cars... this is aint no joke, I didn't let off the gas pedal one instant (neither did he I heard his exhaust everytime we hit it, it was loud). . .

Lastly he tries doing a flyby H E L L - N O was I gonna let him do this I see his Xenons gaining up real fast and I drop the hammer this time we're in the tunnel as you exit from East side into the city... Again I leave him on the straight aways 4 cars this last time I read 140 pinned out in 4th gear The corner comes quick, at high speeds the body on the M3 will roll... I take the corner at 110 - he flies around it 120-130...

The guy was probably hitting the bars . . . young asian guy. I chased him down and talked for a sec., we complimented eachothers cars, and he admitted my M3 was FAASSST...

I pulled him on the straight aways every single run.

wow, did not know the M3 was so much faster...

C4S has 315 hp... and all wheel drive, right. M3 is rated at 333hp (Germany344bhp) We gunned it the same time, every time and I pulled on him. I'm nice to my engine I only redline in these type situations.

This guy was probably late 20's early 30's he initiated the whole thing... but if he didn't I would've. I got lucky it was C4S and not the Turbo... at first that's what it looked like... Turbo Wheels, Silver, Dual Exhaust...

When we hit downtown, he tried exiting immediately, but I caught him at the light and his window went down as I rolled up and he gave me props. I complimented back. I pulled him. I heard him downshifting, and Porsche engines are high revving his engine and exhaust was roaring... Mine was rasping and roaring.

S54 pulls harder and harder at higher speeds... Don't know about the All Wheel Drive C4S though. Maybe it has a good top speed but it seemed that I got to 140 quicker.

The car must have been tiptronic (even with him pushing the button to downshift). did he rev up to take off. You might have a hard time off the dig as it is an AWD car. Unfortunately C4S's are quite a bit heavier than the regular Carreras, and one of the most popular cars in the P-car lineup is the C4S w/ Tiptronic. When my friend and I raced (him = 02' M3, me = 01 Carrera w/3.4L engine w/I/H/E) we were dead even every single time...I mean DEAD EVEN, it was scary how close we were.

You'd think it would be closer. Nice run.

The floating bridge late at night is probably one of the safest places in the country to drive at triple digits. No one to hit, concrete barriers, dead straight.

I miss the right then left hand turns after that bridge on the Ducati.
