03 WRX just handed me $100 bucks :) - race results
Last night when it stopped raining, we went to find a dry road to race.
The stipulation was me giving him 6 cars and I would get the move. Furthermore, I was on stock tires and no DR's as formentioned.
As my buddy paced "six" (Seemed more like 5 - But Im not complaining) cars, we had the WRX line up at that spot, and I would line up further back.
As the road cleared I reved her up to around 2200 rpm. Upon launch I blirped it up to 2700 and feathered the clutch - then released. The results was an awesome lauch with minimal wheelspin. My friend after seeing my car move, also launched. His launch wasnt that all impressive seeing it was his first ever drag race.
As both cars were moving, I was about 2 cars behind his rear bump and gaining speed pretty fast. Towards the end, I put a solid 2 car distance between him and I.
His only comment was, "Damn, you blew by me pretty quick!" LOL!
Oh well, good run, and Im a $100.00 richer

hell of sweeeet!!!
So if he would have gotten a descent launch....(like a WRX should) then he would have had you by apx. 1 car.....once he lears to drive his car, give him only 3 length car advantage....
