I have an Rx-7 and used to have an s2000 speed wise there is not contest but my car wasn't stock when I got it so can't make a fair comparison. Handling wise I say the s2000 was better but my suspension is all original so that might have something to do with it. Overall both are great cars. Man I love Turbo's!

Speedwise? The rx-7 on "average" driver did 1/4 times at about 13.9/14.0. At best it was 13.6 or so. s2000 is about the same. A good driver can get 13.8 or even lower but average ones get 14.0 or so.

I would agree that it was a driver's match. I owned a 93 stock RX-7 R1 and have a 2003 S2000. The Madza was much faster (but the Honda is pretty fast and much more fun). Also, with the S2000, I expect my car to run well for many more miles than the RX-7!!

.. the rx7 should weight aroudn the same as an s2k if not less.. ( i have no idea how much it exactly it weights) but the hp and the tq should be way better then the s2k....

i raced a couple, and those cars arn't slow at all, even from a roll

the FD should be a lot faster then a s2k

I've seen a couple RX-7 93+... Last summer, I ended up at a stoplight next to a Red RX7, I figured I'd get destroyed so I roll my window down and ask, what's the quarter mile on that car, he says 111 mph, so I look forward and cruise. I was driving the s2000.

Nice run, yeah like 4 of my buddies had rx7 FD's love them cars but there ticking time bombs, most stock FDLs aren't running to there full potential, there not 100% healthy, needless to say only 2 of my buddies have there FD 's still and only one of them is running, I'd love to run my buddy that has his running but he's got some mods nothing a supercharger wouldn't fix.
