03 Cobra vs 02 Z06 Pt.3 (I think)
Ok, well Ive raced my wife dozens of times since I bought my Cobra months ago. I would race her pretty much everytime after installing new mods. There is something about that damn Z06 though, as some of you may remember it seems a bit faster than most other Z06's with just and exhaust. It pulled my car even after the ported blower with upper, lower, tune, exhaust etc. So we raced another ported Cobra with the same result it would pull it too. Ok last comparison, our friend with a 98 Cobra making 295 whp with all the bolt ons and a 100 shot and the Z06 pulled away pretty hard. So I just recently bought a 2.2KB we had a few issues with belt slip so its been at the shop (MSX) well last night we got the 15 psi upper with the 4# lower and I dont know if my Boost Overlay needs to be calibrated better but it seems to only hit 14-15 psi. We figured we would play with it on Saturday a bit more since it was getting late. So on our way home me and my wife decide ok lets see if the Cobra beats the damn Z06 yet 
We start in 2nd gear and 3 honks and were off. I spin quite a bit in 2nd and short shift to 3rd and we were pretty much even then in 3rd I gain just a bit, maybe 1 car up, at this point im thinking wtf?? I figured since I just spun in 2nd she gained momentum which is why she satyed close, wel once I shift to 4th, its pretty obvious this isnt going to be in her favor. I start to pull very hard, I put maybe 4-5 cars on her pretty quick and pulling hard so I let off satisfied with the outcome. So finally I beat our damn Z06 Lol, we let Billy @ MSX drive the Z06 the other day and he compared it to a co-workers, he said ours felt like it had a 100 shot compared to his co-workers Z. Sorry for the long story, just wanted to get all the facts out there. Oh well it was cool to see the Cobra finally come out on top, now I just need to get it running 21 psi which was the original plan.

Yeah I know It took a bit but I finally conquered it. It's only going to get worse too since it was only hitting 14-15 psi and im actually getting ready to head out and get the pulley changed so we can run 21 psi. She starting to think about modding it, but I already have a NX kit that im getting from a friend so she would need a SC to keep up

Glad to see the Cobra's finally coming up. You'll have to let us know how 21 psi feels like. Btw, since you're getting so much work done at that shop, maybe that can stick it on the dyno just to see what it does? I'm curious...

Yeah its running about 19 psi right now, swapped the pulleys today. However I need to seriously dyno it, we took it out and it started to knock, so we let off and I added some octane booster in the meantime. It definitely pulls like crazy at 19 psi im going to see if I can dyno it in 2 weeks at its current psi it should be 620-630+ rwhp. I will keep you guys posted once I dyno it.
