Default 03-04 Mustang Cobra vs Sleeper S2K

Hey Guys,

I had been driving for about 3 1/2 hours and had finally gotten into the Boston lines when i see this sinister black cobra coming up behind me! I was with my girlfriend and all the bags and whatnot you need for a weekend away from home!

He pulls up next to me on the left lane and gives me one of those "my car is faster than yours" look and i just give him a smirk. He downshifts it and gives me a little music from his pipes and blower! I hold back on giving him any idea of what im packing until the road opens up. It finally does and we slow down to about 50mph. I do the 3 finger count down.

We go, his car getting a bit of a start due to the instantaneous boost of his blower (which was freaking loud). My turbo spools and i stop his pull and both our cars are right next to each other. I slam it into 3rd, he gains a little until he has to shift, i catch up, i go into 4th and i pull about half a car on him. My girlfriend said the look on his face was absolutely priceless. It was a mix of shock, surprise, and anger, all at once!

Im making around 420whp, so he must have been making about 550ish whp to keep up with me. Considering when i (384whp) raced a friend who had 504 and kept within one car from 40-100. Although i did have a passenger and a bunch of weight in luggage.

We slow down again and he pulls up, i give him the thumbs up, and he does the same! He proceeds to downshift it again and give me a staccato blast from his pipes! Definitely a fun time and we got off our exit and had a great time in bean town!

exactly! I'm all about being understated! Makes the reactions on the people's faces all the better also helps with the cops too

Awesome story. Just wonder where does the word "sleeper" come from?

I have since installed a single sided exhaust, but painted it black, so it looks stock
