Sweet! I am going to be boosting my S within the next month or so. I will continue to mod it over the course of the next 1-2 years or so, afterwhich my wife will get it and I'll get a C6 Z06!

So...honestly bro...please tell me that it "feels" better to drive the Z06 over the Cobra. I've never driven a Z06, but everything I have heard indicates that it handles like no other.

Haha well, sorry to burst your bubble but I actually like driving the Cobra more than the Z06. The Z is my wifes DD so I guess if your used to it its going to be more comfortable to you, but I drive it like once a month. I like the seats in the Cobra better, they have side support and are a bit stiffer. Obviously the Z handles way better than the Cobra does, but im not into that, I like my drag racing. My wife obviously is the exact opposite, she loves her Z and drives teh Cobra maybe once a month so she would take that over the Cobra anyday.

cobra is a better car to mod than the z06 mainly cuz the cobra has a stronger motor and is boosted already. really easy to make go fast. handling is nice to have but the cobra aint too shabby. plus the cobra is more practical..can fit stuff inside of it, 4 seats and a larger trunk
z06 tho is a special car to me. i want one since they came out. loved the 99 FRC vettes and then the z06 came out.
but the numbers look pretty good. should have more in it with more tuning on that 18psi. 600whp definately
but i wouldnt do heads and cam then boost. if your gonna go n/a then go heads and cam... else just boost it with no other mods except maybe a bolt on or two. boosting 5.5 psi will easily get it up to 450-500whp on the stock block and i wouldnt run much more than that without internal work. adding heads and cam will make 400-450whp dependin on cam/heads combo and boosting that for an extra 50-100whp is kinda pointless. you'll only need like 3psi and lowest i seen was 5.5 from procharger
