wow i guesss it levels off right up there around 6100. very interesting.

dyno jet would really show better results...as most numbers i have seen to compare were on dynojets.

those look like decent numbers for a Mustang dyno. I wouldn't worry about the absolute numbers, you can't really compare dyno numbers from different dynos on different days, not that it stops anyone from doing so lol.

Yeah, were dropping the Cobra off tomorrow hopefully they will get it figured out, so we shall see. We are going to dyno the Vette again soon, our shop MSX is going to rent a dyno for a day and do some tuning on customers cars and we are going to see about doing some dyno tuning on the Vette with an SCT programmer. I know on a different dyno there will be higher #'s but damn 328 just sounded way low, especially when the car pulls like it does. I will post up the Cobra #'s when we get the car back, it might be there Wed and Thurs, but as soon as I find out I'll post it up.

it will make around 375 on a dynojet

from my experience, that shouldnt be enough to beat a 450rwhp firehawk unless a) firehawk is as heavy or heavier than stock b) his dyno numbers were inflated by the installers and he is really making a lil less in real life

Bingo, most likely option B unless he's carrying around 4 12s or something like that.

Synergy has always been known to have very high dyno numbers, on some of their charts I've seen they have it showing FWHP instead of RWHP.

Yeah I dont know, we can try to get the dyno chart from him, dont see him very often though. We just dropped the Cobra off so we shall see what #'s we get on that. Now if that makes low #'s somethings gotta be wrong especially with the mods the Cobra has.

450whp fbody will trap 122-123mph... maybe 124. local guy just dyno'd 424 with a smaller reverse pattern cam but could have 18hp more freed up in a more agressive tune..he goes 121-123mph or so.

no stock C5 z06has hit tthat.... fastest i ever seen was 119 in the cold. most are 117-118 well driven in cold low altitude. average guys are 115. quick but not fbody 450whp fast

power to weight dont lie....3400lb heavy side raceweight vette 370whp..9.19
3800lb heavy side raceweight fbody...450whp....8.44

fbody wins on paper and should win at the track

<-- Wifey.

Well, if we go to the shop today, I'll upload the vid of us racing. We did 3 runs from about 50-150mph. 2nd gear I spin, so I prefer a higher run (about 70), but he wanted to go 50. In 4th, he did have the advantage to pull about 1/2 car, but in 5th, I'd definately take it back and then some.

I still think something was wrong with the Dyno results. For those that know my races, I know I'm a good driver, but I'm not John Force here. Also, it's not like I've been racing 16 yr olds that dont know how to drive. Expecially going up against my hubby in his Cobra. I'm not gonna listen to those results until I get my car dyno'd again and see what it comes out with.

BTW, I know it's just a G-Tec, but I've trapped 119 on it on street tires.

Theres the vid, 2 of the 3 races he got the jump, on the second it was pretty good. The cars are pretty evenly matched, anyways just thought Id post that up.

^ Nice vids. I think you guys are crazy for putting more money into your Cobra than your Z06. Yes, I am bias as I love Z06s and don't really like Cobras. IMHO the Z06 is a much better car and I want to see every one of them beat Cobras all day long.
