How about the point of view from an STi owner?



The STi is no highway racer by any means. Yeah it's fast out of the hole and has great low end torque for those slow roll starts, but from about sixty on up there are plenty of cars that will pull it. One thing that alot of people don't get aabout the STi is that both of it's top gears (5&6) are overdrive gears. Neither one are optimal for the STi's power band, and since highway racing usually consumes these 2 gears, there is no wonder why cars like the S2k can pull it at higher speeds.
