02 S2k vs. civic hatch w/b20
Going north on the 5 a red civic hatch catches up to me and guns it. I think "Oh just a dingy little civic" and just get on it in 6th gear. He got farther and I'm thinking "damn, he's gotta have something." so I drop it into fourth and catch up to his bumper, he gets back on it and we are WOT. I pass him at about 125 and kept going. Slowed down and he get's in front of me. I follow him and he takes the 405n.
He get's next to me and signals to follow him. We both get off on the next exit and pull off to the side of the road. His passengers (3) get out and ask me if I wanna run him just for fun.
The first race was kinda a rolling start with me counting to 3. I get him by 3rd but had to stop at the light. Once the light turned green we were at it again. I got him by third again and pulled away and shut off by about 80. We make a U-turn at a light and cruise down the road. We are at another red light and once it turned green same outcome. Once more at the next light we go at it and I miss second
!!!! I just shut off and pulled over by his friends.
Once he got back we talked for a while and followed him to a gas station. He got a flat sometime during our runs. Found out that he had a B20 swapped in there and he plans to go turbo by next month. No other noticable mods and I never asked him to pop his hood. Good kid though, but it sucks that he got a flat.
Later on that night a new VW GTI was looking for a race. I took the challenge and from a 100 roll (yeah I know, he didn't want to slow down) in 4th gear I got him once I hit 5th and was gone by 6th.
Next one we were going slower about 80-85 and went WOT from there. By 5th gear I started pulling away hard. That was the last race and he got off on the next exit.

200hp, 207 lb-ft from the wonderful 2.0T FSI engine.. 0-60 in the low 6s.. 6.0-6.3, 1/4 mile is high 14s.. 14.7ish at 95ish. not sure if the US version has launch control, so it might be more difficult to get these numbers.
+50hp, +85lb-ft is easily attainable with a single reflash.
