Not surprising at all. Funny how some of the ignorant Ion Redline and Cobalt SS owners think they can keep up stok for stock. The race would be better if the Cobalt had some mods.

they should be able to keep up tho.. they trap 97mph stock... thats real close to S2ks

i had some guy in a redline want to race me and after i put him in his place he came back for more. not once but three more times and he got the same results.

Stock for stock the S is a faster. With just a few mods though, the Cobalt would be a pretty quick car.

Almost 3 mph difference in the 1/4 is significant. A RSX Type S is within 3 mph of a Cobalt SS and can't keep up.

5 years till the SS is in the junkyard! same goes for the crappy turbo neons that are out there!!!LOL

I have to add, who in the right mind would buy such an ugly car? I can't fathom spending 5 k let alone 10k on one of these POS. I just don't get what goes through some peoples heads. Go buy a Trans Am at least, cmon, a cobalt...lol
