okay, so maybe I got a little carried away with the painters tape

hahaha.. ya, it was fun to do... i left it on my car for like 3 days, lol

the track in Georgia looks like a driveway! narrow!

 

Yea, hahaha.. well it only took 2 rolls for both my car and my cousin's E36 M3... took me about an hour or so-ish to do my hood, mirrors, headlights, and gas-flap... anything else I'm forgetting?? lol

Well, that track is actually used for kart racing, and motards... annnnd, the occasional time-trial/drift sessions us locals host there... it's a blast man.. $50/day per head for renting out the track.. 10minimum..

This one looks scary. Seems like there is nothing preventing incursion from where the car is onto a section of the track in the foreground where (I think) traffic is moving in the opposite direction.

 

ahh, we're good.. by the time you hit that corner, its like a triple-apex sweeper... so, you're already scrubbing off plenty of speed.. either way, this track is meant for karts really.. so, i doubt that little fence and those 3-4 tires every few feet, are really going to stop anyone... but, this was a pretty good zoom-shot.. you really can't see, but from edge of track to edge of road, is about 90feet... and between the fence of the track and the actual road nearby, there's a 3' irrigation ditch... so, i'm sure that'd stop ya.. lol

all in all, top speed anyone saw on the track that day was me.. haha, no joke, i was late braking into that same corner, and plowing my feet to the floorboard trying to heel-toe the hell out of my car.. but, I believe it was 92mph it was I had hit at one point.. everyone else was maybe slapping low 80's/high 70's...

anywho.. ya.. you were right though.. great observation bud!


ya, i miss having Infineon Raceway 30min from my house in Cali.. and a quick jaunt down to Laguna Seca... lol

Well, I DO have road atlanta about an hour from me now.. so i guess i can't complain

btw, forgot to mention.. this track is ike 20min way from me.. so, ya.. i work with what i've got for my fun

 

Have you thought about getting a clear bra? I'll save you at least a couple of hours per track event.
