I am definetly on the street and have never had a ticket, but lots of others have received fix-a-tickets.

Perhaps it's easier to enforce the law in say Manhattan versus the large California areas like SoCal or NorCal.

They set up dwi, registration, inpsection sticker, seat belt, and cell phone check points all over the city. You drive around a blind turn or come off the highway and bam you get two tickets

The new thing they are big on is giving tickets to people with license plate frames that cover the "The Empire State" at the bottom or "New York" at the top. The plate covers can not block any part of the plate. If they are tinted that's another ticket...
