i've been to NJMP probably 20 times since they opened. been there 8 times this year so far. trying to get in for the Porsche Club this Sunday at NJMP Thunderbolt. i like the Thunderbolt more than Lightning because it's more technical but Lightning is still pretty fun.

Hey bud, I'm curious about that cable on the rear wing.

Any close up pic? Is it helping the trunk from deforming from the drag of the wing.

I have the same wing and the same height extensions, and I've noticed on mine that the sides of the trunk have been pulled-up a bit, at the front mounting area/bolt.

they are lateral supports that i made so the wing doesn't move side-to-side and cause the mounts to fail. this is because of several posts stating that they had wing failure after raising the wing, and increasing lateral movement. before the lateral support, i was able to push the wing about 1/4-1/2 inch sideway. now it doesn't even move, the car move when i push on it.

it's probably not really necessary for this application but i feel better having it there. but i think it will help with the trunk deformation also.

here's my post about it.
