AE reports:

John Edwards. The driver from Little Rock, Arkansas, won a couple of Skip Barber Formula Dodge Races at Daytona International Speedway a couple of weekends ago. Why is this news, you say? Aren't Skip Barber race weekends going on all the time? What's the big deal? The news in this story is that John Edwards is just 12 years old, and he started racing cars last fall after racing karts. He is the youngest race winner in Skip Barber racing series history, and he may just be one of the youngest race winners in auto racing history. Hear that? That was the sound of a bunch of old-dog racers suddenly feeling a whole lot older all of a sudden. It will be fun to watch this kid develop.

He's 12, He's probably got a 100+ lbs advantage on everyone else!
And he's probably fearless from video games. But even so thats pretty cool. I wish I could have started when I was 12!!!

Lack of fear is exactly what I was thinking... I can only imagine how much faster I could get around The Glen if I was not aware of car payments...

He should be fun to watch.
