Yokohama A048R (m, mh and lts)
Do you guys have these tyres in the US, and if so does anyone run them? I'm considering them, as well as R888's, but I know you guys don't get them yet. I'm interested in real world experiences: how long do they last, wet grip, etc.
These will be a track tyre on a road car (second set of wheels).

I run A048 medium compound. I'll answer your questions in order.
1. 5k miles for rears, 10k for fronts - this is depending on what type of events you do and how much street driving they see
2. Damp road grip is about 7/10, but if there's any standing water at all you're asking to spin out on these tires
3. Dry grip is 10/10, there's a reason C-West and ASM run these tires
4. Be prepared to pay at least $1,000 a set
5. Run the Med. compound around 25psi rear, 40psi front. Adjust slightly according to ambient temps.
If you have any more specific questions, feel free to PM me. I think I'm one of the few people here who run this tire frequently.

LTS is a compound made just for lotus cars. We replace them with 6-10k on them for the rears but that is on a 2000 lb car with 190 hp. The LTS is only made in the elise/exige size and they are too small for a s2k.
