Default wilwood calipers - moving and clicking?

I have dynalite wilwood calipers installed on my S2000 up front and the front pass. side makes a clicking noise when you apply the brakes (while stopped, car running). The caliper also MOVES slightly when applying the brakes. The other side does not do this.

the brake kit is used and was working at the time it was removed from the other car. Then again, it is ASSUMED that they were working as, unless you listened closely, you wouldn't notice. so I guess it is possible that this problem has been going on before I even received the brakes.

My question is - what could cause the clicking noise? It is a rapid clicking that goes maybe 3 - 7 clicks immediatly after the brakes are applied. The caliper also moves about 1/8"+. Any thoughts?

stock brakes?

1/8" of flex is a caliber is HUGE! You sure its not flexing into the wheel?

Actually - I've been told the pads are floating.......when it comes to brakes (on the technical side) I am clueless.

But I have the Wilwood 4 Piston kit if that helps?

The 'creaking' sound seems to indicate that the caliper isn't centered on the rotor. Pull the wheel off and do a visual inspection--if one pad is sitting flush with the rotor and the other pad is 1/8" away, you need to remove the caliper and install a shim on the side of the caliper where the pad is closest. If you're not confident enough to tackle the job, any local brake shop should be able to do it in about 30 min. Wilwood calipers are about the easiest brakes to work on.

PM or email Kevin (Nos8nt). He had major problems w/ Wilwood calipers, something about the bleeder valves sheering off and dropping fluid on the road, AS HE WAS DRIVING

Sounds like someone overtorqued the bleeder valves.
