Who has the fastest time for stock S2k?

The fastest I've heard from a ligit poster was a 13.66:

The other guy that managed 13.5 said he had weight reduction and a CAI only and still not stock but great numbers.

The 100 octane may not have helped him much if it was mixed (which is sounded like it was) and if he "shocked" the S2k's adaptive ECU with new detonation perameters. Many S2k owners who have just filled up at the strip with race gas did not report significant improvements, whereas those who have the $$ to run 100 octane regularly have noted improvements. The only dyno numbers I've seen indicate that the total increase from regularly using 100 octane is less than 5hp and it is all at the top.
For most S2ks, weight reduction means removing the spare tire and tool tray (~25lb total). I doubt this guy went through the trouble of pulling the passenger seat, carpet and soft top, but I can ask Dave if you like. 25 lb can easily be the difference between individual drivers' weights or 4 gallons of gasoline, so it seems an insignificant variation to me...but stock in drag racing is different than the way the SCCA defines stock.

a 13.5 with CAI and weight reduction is possible. With a good burnout, i've seen 1.89 60 foots and a 13.70 with a completely stock s2000.
I refused to do burnouts and did a 60 foot of 2.1xxx and you see the info in my sig...
It is possible but difficult to do.
