I've got them all over my garage and even in my garden. Where does one get rid of them?

Metal recycle bin at work. Ok, I admit, probably not that helpful for you.

 

I was worried that they might jam or break the compacter on the truck. Then the neighbors would be pissed at me too if their garbage was not picked up because of a broken truck.... I'm walking a fine line already with the loud car .

I'll call the trash contractor for my town to check also. If they don't allow them I'll take them to a big dumpster somewhere. They look awful rusting away in the garden from the sprinklers.

 

make a lamp, tables, or clock!

 

I thought I had it booked markeed but I can't find it but there was a page about some guy who turned an old brake rotor into a clock. It was sweet!

 

It's a big old chunk of cast iron. Surely somebody will take it for recycling.

However, I know a guy who turned his front yard into a sculpture garden of old motherboards and PC parts. So you could let your artistic side get loose....

 

i use to just dump them in the dumpster. never actually thought about the garbage disposal trucks getting jammed. oh well... hahaha... guess it never happened yet because i would have known about our trash not getting picked up.

 

I had that thought. There was s store close by that sold garden gnomes etc. made of scrap metal. If only I knew how to weld.
