Default Wheel/Tire Recommendation for Ap2

I have a track event on December 21st and want to get a separate set of track wheels/tires. The setup I am considering is a 16x8 245/50 +48 all around. Will that fit well with a 2005 S2k? Also, what would a good offset be for a set of wheels that size? And if you have any suggestions as to where I can find an inexpensive set that would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Get a set of all rear OEM AP1 wheels (16x7.5). Fronts won't be hubcentric, but doesn't matter.

You could get a whole set for $300.

They'll fit 245s easily.

Is your suspension stock or modified? Same size tires on all four corners with the stock suspension would be very hairy.

Can I just get hubcentric rings?

Now that you bring that up, can I just run 17" Ap2 rear wheels up front with a 245/40 without rubbing?
I think CKit is getting fronts and rears mixed up. The rear wheels have a smaller hub diameter than the fronts, so to be able to use the rears on the fronts, you need to get the rears bored out.

AP2 rears on the front with 245s won't rub.

That makes sense. Especially in the context of the manual's directions on putting front wheels on the back (but not vice versa) in case of a flat.

Sorry, see what happens when I try to be helpful?

245/40/17 on 17 x 9 +55 was the most agressive setup on stock suspension i could get without rubbing

therefore i don't think 245 and +48 combo will work

also before using non-staggered setup, you need to know it only works with certain mods, such as stiffer suspension and wing combo, stick with staggered if you don't have those 2 things
