I have an AP1 with AP2 wheels running 225/45 and 255/40 . I have heard you can run a 235 or 245 up front and a 275 out back... Not sure if this is lowered or on stock suspension... I would like to know if there is any benefit to the latter set up as I am due for tires and about to lower the car with GC/Koni combo...

thanks for the responses. I AM curious about the 275's. Anyone run them? Since I'm running substantially more power than stock, some understeer, at my skill level, would NOT be a bad thing. I can always bring the rear around with the throttle, so long as the front is not pushing to the point where even bringing the rear around would not help staying on the hard surface............... not the correct way to negotiate a turn, but I think you get the idea.

I use the 245/275 combination with stock shocks and a Gendron front bar, with V710s, for autocross. I get minor rubbing. They're on stock-sized wheels with almost exactly stock offsets. I don't think I'd want to do that on the track, since I suspect that the rubbing would be worse.
