Default Weight of a Hard Dog Roll bar

All - just throwing it out there for public consumption.

I weighed my Hard Dog roll bar prior to installation. The weight of the roll bar with the removable diagonal bar and removable harness bar installed is 42.7 pounds.

The weight of the backing plates and all bolts/hardware is 4.3 pounds.

Grand total = 47 pounds

I weighed this on my digital bathroom scale. Accurate to 1/10th of a pound. Just throwing it out there; I was looking for this prior to buying the bar but could not find it.

Cheers

Do not know. I suggest calling the manufacturer. They're very knowledgeable.

Yeah I got mine last spring and they were really helpful. They actually have two types of bar now. One allows you to keep the stock role hoops and the other, which is set a little farther back, doesn't. At least that's what I was told when I ordered mine.

For anyone who wants to stay in stock class you'd need your stock roll hoops (especially cause that's where the seat belts attach). For anybody else I might try the second type since it gives you a little more room in the car.

I have an '06 and everything fit right up no modification. But I'm too lazy to put all the plastic and trim back on. I might do a carbon fiber piece to cover it up.

The Hard Dog bars employ different mounting locations than the Cusco bars. Hard Dog bars should fit fine in all MY's...
