Watkins Glen times?
For all you track dogs out there, what are your best times for the long course at Watkins Glen? Please post your times and mods. I'm trying to settle an argument. Thanks!

I'm confused about the average lap speeds though.
As an example look at Brian Fitzgerald, position number 3.
Lap time- 02:37.883
Average speed- 66.601
Distance = Rate x Time, or Distance

Well I'm man enough to admit it... I have not gotten My Spa around the track as fast as I have the CRX-Si. Mind you, I have driven the CRX-Si for over 10 years and that car is as far from stock. My Spa is the first RWD car I have really driven at the track and we are getting acclimated with each other. I also have to admit I bought Toyo RA-1s at full tread because of the commute there, and I know for a fact these tires are slowing me down.
So GTI 20v, I want to know what point you are trying to make. I have over 13 years of experience there and am an instructor, I might be able to help you out...
One here is one for the hell of it.

Thanks. Over on VWvortex there was a bench racing argument as to which would be faster around a track, a Porsche 968 or an S2000, both relatively stock. Someone posted some WG times for the 968, but we couldn't find any for the S2000.
FWIW, I was on the side of the S2000.

Let's do a little deductive reasoning...
A couple seasons back, the King Motorsports Grand Am Cup ITR was running in the 2:14-15 range (with a best of 2:13.5). At other tracks, I was 1-2 seconds back from that car in our B-Stock S2000 on Hoosiers. Let's even call it 3-4 seconds due to the long nature of the track at WG. That means our Stock-Class autocross (Shocks, Front Bar, Tires) S2000 could probably turn 2:17-19 range times there, and I think that's being conservative.
I'd love to find out - anyone have a track schedule?
