So, between Motons and worn out stock shocks, I THINK I rather go with the Motons. After all, if I can afford them, why not?

A LOT, compared to my stock shocks. Which are pretty much gone. After 90,000+ hard earned miles on them. The car rolls like my old civic used to.

Good shocks are worth a few tenths, which is a lot, but not A LOT.
Clear as water.
Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I'm well aware of it.
I don't expect the car to win it for me. I just want to have the same/similar equipment as people in this area.
As you know, few tenths can be A LOT. And in the rain, it can be even more than that. But I agree 100% that it's the driver that makes the biggest difference.
The day I see a guy in stocks beating ALL the fast guys in High-end shocks, I'll put the Motons on e-Bay and go visit the Honda dealership. But until then, I rather spend my money on a well proven product.

PS: I've had researched the subject thoroughly and based on what I've learned and PERSONAL preference, I had settled for Motons. So Penske's, JRZ's, Koni's, etc. are out of the question.
I know Richard does not like the quick disconnects , but my JRZs have been on for a few years and pressure is still good, no leaks etc.. With the disconnects, you relieve the pressure, disconnect the hose, pass through the small hole you drilled, reconnect and re-pressurize.
As far as mounting, mine were orginally zip tied to the cross brace tube between the rear shock towers. I think I needed a "custom" plate for them to sit on though. Its been too long.
