Video - Radical at Spring Mountain
Thought some of you might find this interesting. The line is not good, let me say that upfront. This is from early in the day when I was still getting to know the new parts of the course. However, it is the last session I taped from a camera on the splitter of the car, so I felt it was entertaining enough to put online.

I'll have another video with a better line to put up soon, but shot from behind the driver. It'll be on the same page.
The new track additions are great. SM was always a "not really worth the drive" track from LA, now it's absoutely worth it. It might not be quite as exciting in a Miata, for instance, but in a faster car some of the new sections have some pretty good pucker factor The "falling away" turn and the hill turn just after it (at :56 and 1:03 of the video) are of particular note.

That explains the bodywork, then
Hunter, I don't suppose you've got higher resolution pictures, do you?
BTW, the little red thing on the nose is my wife's Casio Exilim 5.0 MP digital camera, which takes great 640x480 video. You guys are watching a very compressed version, but the original looks awesome. It's a great choice for video IF you're going to download video between sessions, as each session takes about 750mb on the card.
