The guy in the cgt was more worried about you than his own driving.

After he went off-track for that initial brief moment, he was way more concerned about putting distance between you and him than properly harnessing the power of his motor.

f*ckin great vid and great driving... by the S2000 owner

Yep...he dipped into the dirt and didn't wait for his tires to clean off a bit before getting on the power. It's gotta be tough to modulate a 600HP V10!

Nice video, that thing is really loud!
Yep, I think I'm just about the loudest car at the track here. I have a straight 3" exhaust with no cat or muffler that I run at the track. I'm moving to a turbo as a winter project, which should make the car much quieter ... so hopefully the car won't make people's ears blead next year.

you can see his lines are horrible..... was he a noob? neat that they took the car on the track, but probably should have started in a rental mustang until they could figure out how to hit a few lines....

New to the track; though not new to racing. He's had a competition license since the '90s.

His lines, other than going too deep in the turn where he first goes off, are not bad. For the most part he drove good lines. The issue was more that he relied far too much on high power in the straights and overslowed the car too much in the corners.

No doubt though that if the driver was pushing the car harder through the corners ... I wouldn't have had a chance.

Maybe not if he was on street tires and you weren't?

Yes, he was on street tires ... though they were 325s!
