Vibration from rear
I'm posting in the racing section because i'm certain only the "racers" would notice this.
I've been feeling it for a while but now i'm sure it's getting worse. It happens under hard acceleration out of a corner. It's not bad enought where I notice it when autoxing only on the street(although i'm sure it's happening on the track, my mind is else where). Usually vtec in 1st 2nd or 3rd gear and 9/10ths cornering. 4th gear doesn't seem to have enough HUMMMF to get it bad but you can feel it slightly. under straight line acceleration you can feel a slight vibration but not bad enough to think something wrong. The vibration feels like it's coming from the outside rear and it's much much worse then the feeling of a tire being out of balance. I'm thinking Dif problem or a u joint. Taking it into the dealer next week, anyone else experience this. Also of note. Cornering at part throttle or no throttle is perfectly smooth.

Definately driver side inner CV joint housing. If it's only upon acceleration and especially when turning right...
This has been a common problem on many cars including mine. The dealer will replace the part if you take it in, the only problem is that its hard to show the mechanic the problem.

that sounds it exactly. I haven't really noticed it turning left it's been mostly noticeable on right turns. Do most dealers keep the part in stock or am I looking at some down time on the car?

If you find a dealer that is aware of the problem or is willing to listen to you, you can ask them to pre-order the part for you. It should be fairly easy to get for them... The whole job should take about half a day at most if they get the parts first.
There are lots of threads on this, check under "clicking or vibration upon acceleration". There is even one thread with pictures.
The part they need is the driver side inner CV joint, it will get worse with time if you don't fix it but it is not dangerous in any way so you don't have to worry. It's just pitting inside the housing that allows some play for the cv joint......
