Hmmm... I guess I should know who it is, but can't think of anyone I know who hasn't tracked much recently and would go all out and buy/drive Mike's car.

I'll send you a bill for my finders fee.
I'm glad who got the car. Maybe he'll post here and identify himself. Everyone knows him, tho he hasn't gone to the track much in recent years.

Quick update on my first race weekend with the new setup:
I ran the most conservative map that we setup during dyno tuning. RWHP on a Mustang dyno with latest SAE correction: 285. No temp issues at all. Peak oil temp of 267 and peak coolant of 234. It was a fairly cool day though ... the real test will come when it's 112 degrees in July and August.
Turbo is Q U I C K to spool. I kept thinking it was time to shift at 4 and 5k RPM because there was so much more power earlier than expected. Evo's running stock boost no longer pull on me like they used to with the super charger.
Two qualifying sessions on Sun morning. I qualified on pole during both sessions against 1 well prep'd BMW M3 and two very well prep'd Evo 8s.
Shots of my car during qualifying:
Some of the other cars in ITE:
... not sure why this Miata SUV is running in ITE, but it was.
I ran a 1:38.xx on Sat during practice, which would have been good enough for a west track record had it been during the race. During qualifying on Sun I ran 1:41.xx in both qualifying sessions, which was about 3 tenths faster than the fastest Evo and about a sec faster than the other Evo and the M3.
When I pulled in after the final qualifying session the brakes just felt and sounded awful. I pulled a front wheel ... and checked my pads ... ... N O T H I N G left. With no spare pads and not another S2000 at the track or probably in the state with a set of track pads for me to borrow ... I finished my day watching the race from the hot pits.
The black Evo won the race and set a new track record of 1:39.xx.
Real racer: drops a valve destroying his motor. finds a motor and swaps it in just in time to race. Krazik.
Dumb ass weekend wally wanna-be: doesn't bother to have a spare set of brake pads and can't get any in time for the race. MSM.
