But the way mid o is, its always changing. So i was always changing the shocks trying to get the car where i like it and i never felt that it was.
Can I ask where your shocks are set at? And how you went about getting the best setting? Im horrible at this.

ok this is what i have,
Toyo Ra1s 235/255
hondata reflash
3in header back exhuast.
Comptech FSB
KWV3s and the car at nationals weighed in at 2860 with me in it and a lil under half a tank of fuel.

I had to run the stock header due to points. Greg Greenbaum was not happy when i put 2 sec on him, i was instantly sent to the scales and to the dyno and they checked my points.

car weighed in @ 2865 and dynoed 224 on there dyno.

i think almost everyone in here already knows my setup
Do you have any in-car videos from that weekend? Based on your lap times and your car setup, you must be one hell of a driver. Great job!

Just curious if you know what type of dyno they used. If that's a dynojet number, then you would have ~20+hp over my AP1. That would put me at a pretty significant disadvantage, and I don't think that's something that I could make up using fewer points than you used on your exhaust & reflash.

it sounds like it would be #3 and #4 for +5
Correct. The HKS coilover would be a +5.

No. The base class for the S2000 is TTD. The tire size is based on the class you start in, not the class you land in (after you've added up your points).

And yes, there's no limit on wheels. You can upsize/downsize as you please. However, there may be something about changing the offset or increasing the width so much that the track width is increased. I can't remember offhand and don't have the rules in front of me.

ah dam it I see now. The "regardless of OEM tire sizes" threw me off.

I'm not a dyno guru, but I imagine that's correct. I made 206 rwhp with my AP1 with only a K&N air filter and J's 70RS (catback) exhaust only minutes before on the same dyno. As for competitive, keep in mind that the AP2 also has higher weight limit, which will affect it's acceleration, deceleration, and cornering instead of just acceleration like the horsepower. I didn't bring my AP1 at anywhere near the maximum prep level I could have (50-60 lbs overweight, 7 points left to spend, and cycled out tires), but I imagine the cars would have been comparable if I did.

You are correct. The width can not be more than "x" amount wider than stock whether it be achieved solely through wheels or camber or a combination of the two.

is there a number for this "x" amount?

I was considering running 17x9 +45 offset rpf-1s to fit the 255s all around.
