Even if the CR were TTC +7, I think it would still be slightly less competitive with other fully prepped TTC S2000's. But I would take it instead of trying to build a fully competitive TTB car and still come nowhere close to winning.
This is a broad generalization, and consequently, inaccurate. It depends on the track. Case in point, an S2000 on VIR's Full Course can be gobbled up by a lesser handling car that has more hp. Take those same two cars and put them on VIR's North Course, and the TTC S2000 probably runs better than most TTB's.

modified catback is +2.

modified/deleted cat only is +1.
Well, I guess that ends that debate. Thanks, mxt.

Yeah, I was hoping to have a car that I could use for NASA TT and SCCA Autox, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen.
Personally, I'd still throw some RA-1's(shaved, of course) on your car and give it a go. You might have some/lots of fun.

When i was @ nationals. I was talking to Greg Greenbaum about the exhuast question. and he said if you have a header back system its +2 for that and +1 for cat delete.

header +2

And that explanation makes zero sense to me. Header-back exhaust insinuates a cat delete. How many header-back exhausts do you know of that incorporate an oem cat? Zero. If they did, then it would simply be a cat-back exhaust.

Either way, I have to use a stock exhaust for weight purposes.

For him, I was suggesting, literally, only changing the tires. The whole point of the CR is to be closer to track prepped. R-comps, pads/fluid, and weight reduction to the minimum limit is what I'd try first.

Did you see my post on the NASA forum about points and differentiating between AP1/2?

no i did not, i haven't been on there to much lately.

for the ap2 if there not as close to the weight limit then there at a disadvantage i think. My car sat right at 2860 with the stock passenger seat in. but since i got the hard top i removed the soft top all together.
