Where are you guys mounting the nozzles?
I really have no idea where the nozzles should be mounted.
I would think, you'd want 2 under the hood, 2 under the car pointing directly on the fuel tank, 1 at your feet / legs. What I'm worried about though is the fuel tank being directly behind the drivers seat in the S2000. Is that an issue? Should one nozzle be pointed behind the driver in this area?

my SPA has 6 nozzles.
1 at the fuel pump area
1 at hose between fuel filler neck and fuel tank.
1 at my upper body
1 at my lower body
1 pointing at fuel injectors / lines area.
1 pointing at exhaust area (not sure if that make sense, but I've seen a couple of fire started by power steering fluid leaks, which is more flammable than gasoline)
1 at the fuel pump area

Thanks, William! That makes total sense with the filler hose.
For he one with the fuel pump, are you routing it up and over the OEM tank or is this inside the cabin as well?

I don't think that is the fire system bottle, I think that's someone else's fire bottle, probably dropped it or something.
as Lambo is a mid engine car, fire system is mounted on the front end. which broke away, that's why onboard fire system never activated.

That has to be the car's on board fire bottle. Everything in that picture is still in motion. In that series of pics, you can see the bottle detach (along whit the rest of the front end) and then another Lambo hits it on track and punctures the bottle which sends it right back the the burning car....

When I did track days, I was somewhat cavalier about safety; I didn't have any extra roll protection (I flunk the broomstick test by a wide margin), any fire protection (including no fire suit), or any neck protection.
When I started racing, I found religion immediately, and got a HANS, a fire system for the car, and (of course) the car has a full cage. And I'm required to be covered head-to-toe in Nomex gear.
Now, I can't imagine being on a track without all that.
But it's worth noting that that guy had all that, also, and he's suffered permanent, debilitating (if not fatal) injuries. This is a dangerous game.
