Yeah well I've beat him when he had that stuff too. And he's beat me before too.

Apparently Bill's car has a fondness for hamsters...or was it once a chicken coop?

So I have this friend in the East bay, his other semi-professional career is surfing...

This is a car beginning the Carousel-aka Turn 6

This is the beginning of a parabolic line

Here is the tire wall, it really is a good distance up the hill.

You can barely see his path back on track. Only cost Bill 7 seconds. Bill must have an angel on his shoulder at all times.

The aftermath...trust me, it could have been WAY worse, and yes there is video footage from Mr. Kibort.

LUCKY BILL

Bill makes a wish to Tinkerbell, thanking her for watching over his shoulder.

listen very carefully to the limited dialoguePrelude to Kibort...
I got wind of a little cheating bastard action going on this weekend. Of course, since we all drive Honda S2000s and the rules are fairly open, we would never need to resort to such tactics. Now when the other team, (generic european brand) has twice the cylinders and thrice the displacement and they don't tell you there is a bored and stroked motor going in, err gone in 2 weeks ago, we consider that sandbagging. It's strategic, and it will come out in the end, but the hope is it will give them an edge. Next race they'll need more edge, or a longer blade

In PMUM fashion, in race 2 we still show them
Nothing but AP1 Tailights

Here are a few faces from the paddock.

Everyone loves Bobcat. He drives the wheels off his '79 RX-7. He drifts every corner.
He's the most youthful guy I know too. He did a 16 hour stint at the 25HR TH enduro. He took a nap then did another 4 hours! That's stamina at over 50 yrs of age. He shames people half his age every race weekend, myself included. He drives his rx7 in two run groups. Bobcat, you are a legend.

Apparently the blue Comp Coupe does not come with adjustable mirrors. She was parking it in corners and not giving point-byes.

A friendly Mr. Wardlow.

Randy McIntosh. He was all over Kibort for race 2, but never got past him.

In the paddock it is all about laying down the smack talk.
Doug Hayashi is professor emeritus in Smack. Ry is working on his Masters-PhD.

And then, if I still can't find any mercy, I am going to regrettably crush you into a little ball and pound you...

Here is my weapon of choice and the back of the t-shirt I will be wearing.

I am taking numbers, get in line. Any questions?

Enough humor, I mentioned a fire-breathing Mustang with a NASCAR engine.
I kept hearing 750-800HP in the paddock. That is not outlandish. It's a well built clean race car. Somebody put the time in and someone else wrote the check. The result was formidable, I was impressed.

However, when they say 500WHP I was a little miffed so I asked a few more questions.
On what type of dyno?
Mustang
Ahh, so should I factor in a 20% differential to our Dynapack numbers since I am sure 500 is a conservative starting point?
Well that takes us to hypothetical 600WHP?
If there was an overzealous 20% drivetrain loss from the wheels to the crankshaft where would we then be?
720 Crank hp

That's assuming our initial assessment of 500 was accurate.
I still think a car running 39s at Sears is packing some serious heat. I'll even pay for the baselines.

Nice Jongbloed Wheels with HOOSIER A6s!

Lots of front aero development

Mr. Bill was pitted next to the car so we took a look.

Bill peaking...

Dry Carbon honeycomb doors.

Tilton Pedal box

Sequential Shifter!

Nicely fabbed wing mounts.

Dry sump, diff cooler, tranny cooler. So sexy

From the last page of this month's issue of GRM, it looks like this car is going to be featured next month.
