Track brake pad suggestions

Track brake pad suggestions
I've tried doing as much research as I can on the topic, but for whatever reason, I'm failing miserably, because it seems like everyone wants street/track pads, where as I just want purely track pads, but don't have 800$ to blow.
Requirements:
- dusting does not matter
- squealing does not matter
- rotor wearing isn't a huge deal, although I don't want to go through a set of rotors every brake pad change.
- price - 400$ for front and rear, but I might be able to stretch to 500$
I was checking out project MU pads, but getting them in canada might be an issue without blowing 150$+ on shipping charges + import tax etc etc.
Heard mixed things about hawk pads (being mushy, worse than OEM etc), as well as EBC so I'm kinda hesitant on them, unless someone can convince me otherwise.
Also, I'm running 255 square with RE071R's, so I literally toasted the OEM pads on my last track day. so those are not even close to what I'm going to be needing.

Well for what it's worth, I run Carbotech XP10 front and rear for HPDE Intermediate. Purchased from Rick's S2000 Accessories. Full set should cost less than your $400 budget. A "list price" is shown on his site, but once you put in your cart, there is about a $20.00 discount on front and rears each.
I track the S (basically stock) about 3 or 4 days a year and think I am still on my first set of Carbotechs purchased in 2012. But I race another car for stimulation. Since I run the S in Intermediate, that might be a clue that I don't drive the S as aggressively as you might. But still, I have no complaints about the pads.

I run Hawk DTC60s in the front with cheap Stop Tech rear pads. I had used Hawk Plus in the rear but it was too much rear bite and would cause the back go walk. Its perfect now

My go-to track combination lately is Hawk DTC60 front and HP+ rear. I decided to stick with Hawks since I use the HP+ for autocross/DD and I didn't want to deal with pad transfer or swapping rotors. I get them from TireRack at $166 for a front set, and the HP+ are $80 for a rear set.
I'll occasionally just leave the HP+ on the front and I find they're okay, but overheat after a couple hot laps. I've also tried the HT-10 compound, but the pad life was a little too short for my liking.
I should also note that after switching to track compounds, I'm only getting about 4-5 track days before I'll crack a rotor now. Brake cooling, or more judicious use of cooldown laps would probably help in that respect.

Cobalt XR2 front and XR3 rear if you don't mind having to wipe off the dust (it will turn to difficult to remove rust if you let it get wet and sit). I use these on my track S2000 and have had awesome brakes for years. Good feel, performance, and no fade with OEM calipers and rotors.

I'll call around to my local shops and see if they have them, but I'd be suprised if I can find them for cheap
