I wouldn't phrase it that way. Generally speaking, speed and durability are inversely proportional. RA1s aren't as fast as A6s, but they're also way more durable, and make a great dual-use tire that you can use to drive to the track, lap all day, then drive home again.

Just DON'T drive on them in rain if they are worn to slicks...

More like a budget racer, btw I use Toyo R888.
