The OEM tow hooks works fine if you pull straight forward. I think were you will run into issues with it snapping is if you try to lift up on it. I'd rather have an aftermarket tow hook bend instead of snap like the OEM will.

Liars!
Looks like I need the offset bolt pattern for the front, per the GTM piece above. What does a rear bolt-in (as opposed to screw-in to the bumper) tow hook look like?
Thanks,
Ben

As far as the rear, if you don't want a screw in, I'd imagine you need to drill into the bumper support or something.

Some sanctioning bodies are requiring folding toe hooks or straps. I have J's Racing solid hooks front and rear and they would penetrate deep into the roll cage of a t-boned car. Next time I pull the front bumper a folder or strap is going in.

Is the stock tow hook receiver thread M12 x 1.75?
(which would mean the cheapy 12 x 1.5 OMP foldable won't fit)
Thanks.

sorry to crash into the thread. I have a bigger issue, i just installed the Amuse R1 front bumper and waiting for a tow hook that is usable with it since there is no hole in the bumper for the stock hook.
untill i find a solution, im gonna have to track the car with one option of towing it using the stock rear hook in case something happenes. do you think i'd be fine with this temporary solution? i have three track days ahead during January.
Back to topic: i used the stock hook at the front twice before and it held up ok.
