Tire Tail??

Seems people that actually have these have no problems. People that don't have them come up with all sorts of reasons why they could be a problem. I spoke with the owner of the company yesterday. He is a very nice guy. He has used his own tire tail for over a year now with no problems. He says he hasn't had any returns or problems to report from customers.
He likes the look of the Hammersley Hitch better than the D'Lan he sells. He said he would certainly see why we wouls want that hitch and he would work with us if his tire tail needed to be modified to work with the HH.

I initially dismissed this for myself, and went with the removable hitch and trailer.
However, late last season I met two guys at the Miata Renegade Club Events at Devens, and both swore by their Tire Tails on their Miatas. If anything, I would think that the S2000 is bigger, heavier and sturdier for mounting such a device. These two Miata guys absolutely loved them, and that's why I sent you the link to consider -- rather than putting a rack on top of your head...
