Tire question for BS AP1 setups
#41
My opinion on Hoosier A6 275's on the AP1: TERRIBLE. Your mid-range accleration goes from bad to worse. I was -seconds- slower on the 275's vs 245's.
Now if you could get could get a 275 in a low profile/ small OD, that would be sweet!

maybe someone will figure out how to cram a CR under an AP1 and then all this will go away.
or maybe RTR only
or maybe CR to AS
or maybe BSP will get aero and hardtops
or maybe full standalones in STR
or maybe frictionless rollers....

Not true. I never sold mine as I had never owned a WRX at that point, I was co-driving and my co-driver kept the car and we'll run it next year as well.

Is this Smedegard?
I said "sold their rides," not that they owned the vehicles themselves.
Andy's co-driver and the car owner sold the go fast parts and was trying to sell the car. Maybe he kept it when it didn't sell? Preston was 4th and DQ'd himself to leave before his final work session to get back home. I have his car (and his co-driver won't be returning to class).
It didn't seem to bring in people looking to compete in class longitudinally. It may still happen, but I'm making the counterpoint to Jeff's hypothesis that RTA brought and will maintain specific drivers to class.

Ok, by guessing, you must be #2.
So sorry, #s 1, 3 and 4 in class won't be returning to RTA unless plans change.
I think it still makes the same point.
