Rather than cutting your rotors to be thinner, you can mill 2.5mm off each brake pad. There may even be enough room with the caliper piston pushed all the way in to get away with taking 2mm or less off each pad. You will go thru pads faster, but can still retain the stock rotor thickness.

The OEM thickness is correct (25mm), it is the NSX rotors that are thicker, but they still work. The shimming and shaving on the caliper is for the offset of the caliper.

Just to follow up, I have decided that this is not the swap for me. I will sell the calipers and save my pennies for a BBK
